The couple met on the 20th of June 2022 at the Nigerian embassy in Dublin. They had both gone there to renew their passports. Efosa didn't have an appointment for that day, but he went just in case the people at the embassy would let him in. Binxa on the other hand, had an appointment and she arrived at the embassy bright and early. When Efosa arrived, he noticed Binxa standing outside, talking to an older man but they didn't speak to each other then.
After waiting outside for about an hour, the embassy staff finally let everyone in and as God would have it, Binxa and Efosa were sat beside each other inside the waiting room and so they started talking to each other. They spoke about Binxa's new job which required her to relocate from Limerick to Dublin. As she didn't have any friends in Dublin, they both decided to keep in touch and meet up after she moved to Dublin in the next few days. They went out on their first date on Binxa's birthday, the 2nd of July 2022 and the rest as they say, is history!
